After completing a semester-long practicum, Poole College graduate and undergraduate students showcased their innovative solutions to real-world problems at the Supply Chain Resource Collaborative (SCRC) Gallery Walk. More than 70 executives and 40 students participated in the December event at Hunt Library’s Duke Energy Hall.
Almost all of the student projects featured analytical insights from business intelligence platforms. Topics included global transportation analyses, inventory management, supplier management, warehouse management and product SKU segmentation.
Participating companies included Caterpillar, Advance Auto Parts, Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Novo Nordisk.

On the same day, the SCRC and the Commercial and Contract Management (CCM) Institute held a symposium on “AI in Procurement and Supply Chains,” with more than two dozen practitioners and academics participating.
