Jenny Hammond serves as the chief architect of the marketing, branding and communication strategy for the Poole College of Management. She is responsible for developing and executing this strategy in support of the college’s strategic goals and mission, while serving a diverse set of internal and external audiences.

She reports to and serves as the chief communications counsel to the Dean and collaborates with the college’s leadership team to drive college strategy and works closely with internal and external constituents by building relationships, providing guidance and working with teams/committees pertaining to enrollment management, community relations, donor relations, communication policies, brand standards, and fundraising. Jenny also leads the college’s earned, owned and paid media, including web properties, social media channels and lead generation efforts.

Hammond brings to the role a rich history of admissions, recruiting and marketing work across several universities, including Appalachian State University, University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Elon University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
