Josh Agner

Bio

Josh Agner previously was a finance officer at the University of North Carolina School of Government. Agner also has 15 years’ experience at NC State, working in the business offices of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, College of Education, and College of Engineering’s materials science and engineering departments.

“I started working accounting in materials science and engineering during my undergrad studies here at NC State and never really looked back,” he said. “When I was about to graduate, one of the people I was working with was about to retire and they offered me the full-time job. I loved what I was doing and just continued it from there,” he said.

Josh and his wife Beth have two sons, Bentley and Finn. “I love coaching my oldest in t-ball and watching all sports (Panthers, Hurricanes, NC State are my teams),” he said. “I am a big movie fan as well; Shawshank Redemption is my favorite, and I like to read.”
