In a recent interview, Poole professor Andrew Greenland joined The National Committee on United States China Relations to discuss the implications of recent tariff developments for U.S.-China trade, domestic political pressures and the global economic order.
“You can look at the trade data and see that there was a lot of trade that used to take place between the U.S. and China, and that is now taking place between China and Vietnam or China and Mexico — and then Vietnam, Mexico and the U.S.,” he said.
