Nathan Goldman Explains How Companies Can Save Money with Overseas Employees

Nathan Goldman, assistant professor of accounting, co-authored a study published in The Accounting Review that shows how companies with overseas employees can take advantage of U.S. tax breaks.

“Congress continues to evaluate ways to structure tax policies to help limit base erosion and profit shifting among U.S. corporations,” said Goldman. “Thus, we were interested in how tangible investments, such as the firm’s employment of personnel outside of the U.S., affect tax-planning activities.”
