Corporate Engagement with Students

Professional Development Expo

Held early each fall semester to kick-off the recruiting season, this event is specifically for our undergraduate students – first-year students to seniors. The Expo is built around 50-minute career and professional development sessions led by employer representatives and special invited speakers. The event ends with a large student/employer networking event. Employer sponsorships are available.

Etiquette Dinner

Offered in the middle of the fall semester, this event is for both our undergraduate and graduate students. The event begins with a networking reception, followed by a four-course meal and an etiquette presentation. Employer sponsorships are available.

Information & Networking Sessions

Offered throughout each semester in the late afternoon or early evening. Bring in a recruiting team to give brief overview of the company and spend the remaining time talking with students informally.

Information Table

Offered anytime during the day outside of our coffee shop or in one of our courtyards. Great way for a recruiting team to meet and talk with students informally. Can give away company items, prizes, or food.

Resume Blitz

Another terrific branding opportunity, bring in a small team to critique student resumes and offer advice. Offered before the career fair each semester.

Practice Interviews

Bring in a small team to critique 30-minute practice interviews with students.

Student Organization/Club Presentations

The Poole College of Management has over 25 student organizations. Work directly with one or several of our student organizations to sponsor and speak at a club meeting or event. We can provide you with a current list of our student organizations.

Student Network Group Mentor

We welcome professionals to become a mentor in our Student Network Groups in our Management 100 courses. Professional mentors attend 3-4 classes during the semester working with students in one of several affinity groups.
