Global Summer Institute

The Poole College of Management is offering an exciting international opportunity, the Global Summer Institute. This 4-week, virtual program offers internationally-focused courses delivered primarily synchronously so students can engage with faculty, students and partners from around the world.

Cost

$1,700

Includes two courses (6 credits) and Institute related activities; Cost is the same for in-state and out-of-state students

Courses

M 380 – Doing Business Globally

All students in the Global Summer Institute will meet together in one section of this interactive and globally focused course to learn how culture, economics, and other trends impact business around the world. Students will engage in simulations, attend international guest lectures, participate in virtual corporate visits, and engage in cultural activities such as cooking classes and tango lessons

Students select one course from the following list. Each course covers the same material as is taught in a traditional class, but will also incorporate more international examples, cases, and theories to broaden students’ global perspective.
