Mr. Sandruck joined the Poole College of Management at NC State University in December 2010 as the first full-time Director of Global Programs. In this role, Rob has created a portfolio of international programs allowing students to pursue management education within a global context. In this role, he works with students to help them develop a broader worldview and an understanding of how this impacts their careers. Prior to joining the Poole College of Management, Rob worked at Duke University where he served as the Director the Executive MBA Programs. Rob has worked a variety of college and universities in student service, academic affairs, and international education. Finally, he married to Dr. Audrey Jaeger, a professor at NC State and a proud father of two girls who both study French and share his passion for cooking and traveling the world.

Assistant Director of Global Programs

Ellen Frost joined the Global Programs team in the Poole College of Management as a Graduate Assistant in August 2014. After completing her Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from NC State in May 2016, she transitioned into the full time role of Assistant Director for the office. Ellen's primary responsibilities include advising Poole students interested in semester or year-long programs, managing the summer study abroad programs offered through Poole and overseeing the international exchange student experience. In addition, Ellen serves as the advisor for Global Corps, the student organization that serves as an extension of the office. Originally from Michigan, Ellen received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. Ellen and her husband are now settled in downtown Raleigh and enjoy taking advantage of the area from bowling leagues to Durham Bulls baseball games, from tasty restaurants to beautiful parks.

Graduate Assistant of Global Programs

Adrienne Shank joined the Global Programs team in June 2019 and advises students interested in studying abroad on summer and semester programs through the Poole College of Management. Adrienne also advises the International Business Club, which brings together U.S. and international students and allows them to share their interest in international business. Adrienne received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and taught high school Spanish for 6 years. Over the summers Adrienne led groups of students on language and culture programs to Costa Rica and eventually spent several months there teaching English. This teaching experience, coupled with her own great study abroad experience in Granada, Spain, led Adrienne to NC State to complete a Master of International Studies with a concentration in Higher Education Administration. Adrienne’s goal is to help students realize the benefits that completing a study abroad program can add to their personal and professional lives. When not on campus, you can find Adrienne planning her next travel adventure with her husband or trail running with her dog around the many lakes in North Carolina.
