Meet Our Staff – Global Programs
Mr. Robert Sandruck
Mr. Sandruck joined the Poole College of Management at NC State University in December 2010 as the first full-time Director of Global Programs. In this role, Rob has created a portfolio of international programs allowing students to pursue management education within a global context. In this role, he works with students to help them develop a broader worldview and an understanding of how this impacts their careers. Prior to joining the Poole College of Management, Rob worked at Duke University where he served as the Director the Executive MBA Programs. Rob has worked a variety of college and universities in student service, academic affairs, and international education. He has a Master of Education from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Economics from Towson University. Finally, he married to Dr. Audrey Jaeger, a professor at NC State and a proud father of two girls who both study French and share his passion for cooking and traveling the world.
Ms. Ellen Frost
Ellen Frost joined the Global Programs team in the Poole College of Management as a Graduate Assistant in August 2014. After completing her Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from NC State in May 2016, she transitioned into the full time role of Associate Director. Ellen’s primary responsibilities include advising Poole students interested in semester or year-long programs and managing the summer study abroad programs offered through Poole. In addition, Ellen serves as the advisor for Global Corps, the student organization that serves as an extension of the office. Originally from Michigan, Ellen received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. Ellen and her husband live in downtown Raleigh and enjoy taking advantage of the area from bowling leagues to Durham Bulls baseball games, from tasty restaurants to beautiful parks.
Ms. Mariah Henderson
Mariah Henderson joined the Global Programs team in the Poole College of Management in August of 2019. Mariah advises students interested in summer and semester programs offered by the office and serves as an advisor for Global Corps. Mariah received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and lived in Spain working as a language and culture ambassador. After returning to the United States, she worked as a high school Spanish teacher for 9 years before coming to NC State to complete a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration. Mariah loves to travel and explore new cultures, reading a good book and spending time with her Australian Shepherd mix.
Ms. Kelsey Oberbroeckling
Kelsey Oberbroeckling joined the Global Programs team in the Poole College of Management in August of 2020. Kelsey serves as an advisor for Global Corps and advises students interested in summer and semester long programs offered by the College. Kelsey received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Certificate in Leadership Studies from Florida State University (FSU). Following graduation, she lived in London and worked as a Program Assistant for FSU London. After returning to the United States, Kelsey worked for two nonprofit organizations in her hometown of Tampa, Florida. Kelsey is currently in the Master’s of Higher Education Administration at NC State. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys exploring new places, spending time in the sun, taking walks, and reading.
