66 Poole College Students Inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma

Sixty-six undergraduate and graduate students in the NC State Poole College of Management were inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma at a ceremony held in the Nelson Hall auditorium on Thursday, April 7. Each student received a blue and gold cord that will be worn over their graduation gown during their commencement ceremony.

“As a member of the Poole College faculty, I am very pleased to welcome our newest members of Beta Gamma Sigma, and congratulate them on their academic achievements. I encourage all our BGS members to continue growing in leadership and professionalism throughout their careers, and to take advantage of the networking and other benefits of BGS membership,” said Tamah Morant, Ph.D., associate dean for undergraduate programs at Poole College.

Beta Gamma Sigma is an international business honor society for students at AACSB accredited-institutions that encourages and honors academic achievement and fosters a commitment to its founding principles: honor and integrity, pursuit of wisdom, earnestness, and service.

Membership is extended to juniors and seniors who are in the top 10% of their class, top 20% of master’s students and all business doctoral students. With almost 800,000 current members, BGS provides networking and professional development opportunities for its members who live in all 50 states and in over 160 countries worldwide.
