Poole College Accounting Researcher Aims to Help Individual Investors

Dr. Eileen Taylor, assistant professor of accounting in the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University, and BetterInvesting, a nonprofit association serving the individual investor, announced that they are collaborating on a survey that Taylor and her research colleague at the University of Nebraska-Omaha hope will ‘level the playing field’ for individual investors.

Accounting Students’ Free Income Tax Return Service Continues

Accounting students in the NC State Poole College of Management are providing free assistance in completing income tax returns for NC State University students and employees and community residents whose annual household income is below $49,000. The service will continue through March 19.
