Hillsborough Street Renaissance Festival - Volunteers Needed

For the first time since its original construction in 1972, Hillsborough Street will be closed for an all day eco-friendly arts & music festival on Saturday, March 14th. Want to become part of the team? We need people who are serious about volunteering the day of the event. Click here to sign up as one of the 266 volunteers and to become a part of history in the making on Hillsborough Street!

There will be live bands including Inflowential, Brooks Wood Band, Wrecking Season, and more!

Venues Include:

  • Q Shack presents ATO’s Pig-N-Pie Competition
  • Cherokee Investment Partners presents ReDress Raleigh Fashion Show
  • Sushi Thai presents the Organic Iron Chef Competition
  • Union Activities Board presents the Alternative Fuel Vehicle Showcase
  • Music Explorium Presents the Youth Venue featuring Solar Powered Race Cars, a SpaceWalk and Drum Circle
  • VIP Lounge

You can watch the ACC tournament, enjoy awesome festival food, rock out with the bands and more!

  • Production/Volunteer HQ Set Up/ Clean Up
  • Venue Set-Up
  • Greeter
  • Volunteer Check-in Assistant
  • Zone Manager
  • Site Manager
  • Production Assistant
  • VIP Greeter
  • VIP Waiter/ Waitress
  • Stage Crew

If you’ve ever wanted to be part of something BIG, now is your time. Do it for yourself. Do it for your school. Do it for your community. Most of all, do it for the street we all love…Hillsborough Street!

In return for volunteering for a 5 hour shift, you will receive a free t-shirt and refreshments during the Festival. You will also get a behind the scenes look at all the action. It’s more fun to volunteer with a friend, so invite your friend to sign up with you!
