Poole College Shack-a-Thon team exceeds 2015 goal

Poole College’s 2015 Shack-a-Thon team exceeded its $7,500 goal, bringing in a total of $12,341.11 when all donations were tallied in late October, earning second place behind the College of Natural Resources. 

Team leaders Sam Arneson, Jane Marshall and Sam Wolljung coordinated the construction and fundraising activities, which included partnerships with restaurants, including Wicket Taco, El Cerro and  Jersey Mike’s. The restaurant fundraising nights brought in $451.17, and the rest were donations made online and at the Poole College shack.
