Networking and Etiquette Dinner set for Oct. 15

Poole College’s Office of Undergraduate Programs’ Career Development Center is hosting its Fourth Annual Etiquette Dinner.

This year’s Business Etiquette Dinner is scheduled for October 15, 2014, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at NC State’s McKimmon Center. The cost for undergraduate students to attend is $5.00. The Enterprise Holdings Foundation is sponsoring the event for the 2014-2015 academic year.

Certified Etiquette Trainer Sharon Hill will be the featured speaker for the event, providing information on how students can strengthen their dining etiquette in a judgment-free environment. The event will begin with an opportunity for students to network with employers and sponsors prior to sitting down to a four course meal. Attendees will gain knowledge of how to conduct themselves in a formal setting that will remain relevant throughout their professional careers.

About 100 attendees are expected at this year’s etiquette dinner, along with a strong representation from employers and sponsors.
