Legal Scholar John Barnett discusses ‘Our Republican Constitution’ at annual Pope Lecture

Randy E. Barnett, Carmack Waterhouse Professor of Legal Theory at the Georgetown University Law Center, presented the 2017 John W. Pope Lecture at the NC State University Poole College of Management on March 27.

Barnett presented an overview on the topic of his most recent book, “Our Republican Constitution: Securing the Liberty and Sovereignty of We the People,” as well as the recent U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee’s confirmation hearings regarding Supreme Court nominee Judge Neil M. Gorsuch.
