Poole College Alumnus Opens Two Roosters Ice Cream Shop

Ice cream, anyone? Folks in Poole College’s Department of Accounting can find a familiar face – Jared Plummer – at the newly opened Two Roosters Ice Cream shop at North Raleigh’s Graystone Village shopping center. He and his wife Kelsey opened the brick and mortar shop in time for National Ice Cream Day, which was July 16.

Jared, a Poole College alumnus (bachelor’s in accounting, 2005; MAC, 2007) and former assistant director of the college’s Jenkins Master of Accounting program, and Kelsey have been selling their homemade ice cream since March 2015. Read their story in this News and Observer article.
