Peyton Stokley has been named director of development at the NC State University Poole College of Management.

She brings considerable academic experience to her role, including five years in associate director and director roles at the University North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Arts and Sciences Foundation. Prior to that, she held fundraising and student affairs positions at Vanderbilt University, Belmont University and the University of Alabama.

“We are thrilled to have Peyton join our development team, who takes the place vacated by Scott Troutman earlier this year,” said Anya Reid, executive director for development and external relations at Poole College. “Peyton has great energy and drive, and is excited to be applying her fundraising and relationship-building skills to develop strong partners for NC State and the Poole College. She will play a key role in working with our external constituents – our alumni, friends and corporate partners – in order to drive private philanthropic support for our academic priorities.”

Stokley received her bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations from Florida State University and her master’s in higher education administration from Vanderbilt University. She and her husband live in Raleigh, where she is involved in the local Triangle Girls on the Run organization.
