About this Event
The IWC aims to bring together women in the Triangle area – from students to entrepreneurs and corporate executives – to encourage discussion and hands-on learning in all areas of business.
As the challenges women face in business continue to grow, it’s important that women continue to inspire each other to achieve their goals, be good influences and impact change in and outside of their organizations, the event organizers said.
The panelists and conference speakers include executives, entrepreneurs and managers with leadership roles in accounting, banking, digital media, government, law, leadership management, non-profits, supply chain and logistics, technology.
The conference begins with a networking event – “Conversations with the She Suite” – on Thursday evening, October 11, at 5:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m., at the Dorothy and Roy Park Alumni Center at NC State, 2450 Alumni Drive, Raleigh, 27606. This event features a dynamic panel of women in the C-Suite of their organizations. Beverages and appetizers will be provided.

At Bank of America, Hood manages the processes and functions for BOA’s Global Diversity and Inclusion organization, leading global strategies, programs and initiatives that actively support Bank of America’s diverse and inclusive workplace. She also manages the Investing in Women Leadership Council, comprised of senior executives across the company who act as advisors and champions efforts to advance women’s success.
