Why did you choose Poole for your education?

The Raleigh, NC location was ideal for me. In addition, I come from a long line of NC State alumni!

How did your experience in NC State Jenkins MAC program contribute to your professional achievements and successes?

The Jenkins MAC program gave me a strong foundation for the hard work ahead in public accounting.  It gave me an overview of the profession, the professional expectations and the class foundation for the CPA exam.

Could you give a brief explanation of your current line of work, and what has led you to it?

I work in the Corporate Tax Office (CTO) group within RSM US LLP.  I specialize in developing tax efficiencies, technologies and integrated solutions for large corporate taxpayers. I’ve worked both in public accounting and in a tax department for a publicly traded corporation; my current role at RSM allows me to utilize my experience and knowledge and leverage that in a new way that is very much consultative.
