Why did you choose Poole for your education?

I wanted to be a CPA.

How did your experience in NC State Jenkins MAC program contribute to your professional achievements and successes?

The Jenkins MAC program gave me a great knowledge base to pass CPA exam and career start with a Big 4 firm.

What did you enjoy most about your time in the Jenkins MAC program?

The community – friends and faculty!

Could you give a brief explanation of your current line of work, and what has led you to it?

I have worked in State government at the Treasurer’ss office for seven years. I am responsible for the State’s banking services and accounting/financial reporting for over $100 billion of investments, debt, and other trusts.

What do you believe is your most interesting accomplishment since graduation?

Our team has successfully implemented multiple new governmental accounting standards for the State.

What advice do you have for Jenkins MAC students?

Get to know your professors. They have so much to teach and share
