The Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS), the official publication of the Academy of International Business (AIB), released their list of platinum, gold, and silver medal recipients in celebration of the journal’s 50th anniversary. Among these recipients, NC State Poole College of Management’s Brad Kirkman, head of the Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department and General (Ret.) H. Hugh Shelton Distinguished Professor of Leadership, has been awarded a silver medal based on his contributions of significant work to the publication.

The silver medalists must have had to submit at least five significant papers within the first 50 years of the journal’s existence and be an IB scholar. The awards will be presented to the medalists in June 2019 at the AIB Conference in Copenhagen where contributors will be celebrated for publishing their insightful, innovative, and impactful research
