What has been your favorite class or professor in Poole?
My favorite class has been MIE 305, Legal and Regulatory Environment. Dr. John Kuzenski’s challenging teaching style helped me develop better critical thinking skills and a more in-depth knowledge of business law. Additionally, I am enrolled in Poole’s new study abroad program for MIE 480 – Business Policy and Strategy. Over spring break, I will be exposed to business strategy scenarios through company visits and guest speakers in Paris and Reims, France. Professor Leigh Shamblin has done a wonderful job creating a hands-on learning experience, and I am excited to continue to learn from her.

We are constantly discussing opportunities to expand and improve Poole’s undergraduate programs. This year PSAB has been working on a few initiatives including creating the first Poole Outstanding Faculty Award, implementing the first graduating class gift and increasing alumni engagement.
Why should a student get involved with a Poole club or organization?
Getting involved in Poole is a fantastic opportunity to meet students within the college and also network with Poole faculty. I have been able to develop my communication, teamwork, critical thinking and leadership skills.
