Celebrating Our #PoolePack for Employee Appreciation Week
In conjunction with NC State’s Employee Appreciation Week, Poole College will host events and activities for faculty and staff May 6-10. The week-long celebration is focused on building community with each other and having fun!
In addition to each day’s themed activities, there will be weeklong opportunities to participate:
- Join our NEW College Water Cooler in Google chat! You can opt in here. Here’s how it works: Throughout the week, there will be a daily Fun Facts Challenge to learn new and interesting things about our co-workers. Submit your fun facts here. In addition to the daily Fun Facts quiz, there will also be a special themed competition in the College Water Cooler every day. All winners will be drawn at random and announced at the end of each day.
- In Where’s the Dean? you’ll try to find our “Undercover Dean” (think: Flat Stanley) hidden somewhere different in Nelson Hall each day. Hints will be provided in the College Water Cooler.
- Earn points for every activity you participate in throughout the week, keeping track through the leaderboard in our digital hub. More points = more prizes.
The week will culminate with a catered lunch and prize “ceremony” on Friday, May 10. Please RSVP for lunch by Monday, May 6, if you plan to attend.
All events and activities are brought to you by the college’s Employee Appreciation Week committee: Kat Byrd, Jonathan Hennessy, Natalya Locklear, Tara Madden, Maggie Merry, Doug Rowe, Jaquan Scott, Suzanne Stanard, Megan Van Hook and Taylor Wood.
