NC State Jenkins Online MAC Program Ranked Among The Best

University HQ and Academic Influence have ranked The Jenkins Online Master of Accounting Program in their most recent releases of Best Online Master’s in Accounting Programs.

University HQ ranked the Jenkins Online MAC No. 4 overall.  To determine rankings, the publication uses data collected from government sources along with several ranking factors including cost of tuition, admission rate, retention rate and graduating salary. Each college in the rankings is assessed using the same data sources so that comparisons are even and consistent. More information about their data collection and rankings methodology can be found here.

Academic Influence ranked the Jenkins Online MAC No.7 and ranks programs using artificial intelligence (AI). The machine-learning technology drills down deeply to identify people and institutions and associate mentions with records of achievement. According to AcademicInfluence.com, “this technology creates rankings that are objective and non-gameable, giving student reliable information they need to draw insightful comparisons among schools.” Read more about their methodology.

The online MAC program was first launched in the fall of 2020, allowing part-time working students the opportunity to maintain the priorities of life much easier. “The program recognized the need for this flexibility and provided an opportunity for online learning in all elements of the MAC program”, says Scott Showalter, director of the MAC program and professor of practice in accounting. “The MAC faculty and staff have worked very hard to launch the online MAC Program and we are pleased the effort and results are being recognized nationally. The program incorporates the attributes that are highly valued by online students.”

The Jenkins Online MAC is designed for early- and mid-career professionals — both in and outside of the accounting field.
