BUS 423: Advanced Investments uses data analysis to understand the performance and behavior of different securities over time. This course is a great option for students interested in developing their data analysis skills in a finance context. Finance has become a data-driven field, and these skills are sought after. BUS 427: Capital Markets Essentials is an overview of securities markets, including asset backed securities, derivatives, credit default swaps, and others. This course will provide students with an understanding of how to value different securities and the roles they play in finance. Taught by: Amir Mehr.

BUS 480: Capstone Security Valuation and Portfolio Management is a capstone course that integrates investment concepts and develops advanced portfolio management tools and techniques using real-time data from Bloomberg terminals. This course is taught in the financial markets lab by Reza Estilaei.
