NC State Executive Education is offering an open enrollment course for engineers, scientists and other professionals seeking to gain a deeper understanding of fundamental business models that drive decision-making in organizations.

The course is offered in two modules, providing the basics, and then allowing participants to apply them as they work on company-specific projects and develop a business plan to take back to their organizations.

• Module one, held November 16-17, covers operations and finance, customer analysis and strategy, innovation and business planning, and influence and consulting.
• Module two, held December 11-12, covers business plan presentations and organizational culture, change management, organizational leadership, and transformational leadership.
