As the conversation wraps up, attendees will have a chance to ask questions. The event is free and open to all NC State students, faculty and staff and the general public.

About Steve Fechheimer
As chief executive officer of New Belgium Brewing, Steve Fechheimer leads with authenticity and focus to drive sustainable, profitable growth. Fechheimer joined the New Belgium team in August of 2017. Prior to moving to the sunshine state of Colorado (a welcome destination for his family of four), he spent nearly eight years at Beam Suntory in Chicago, the world’s third-largest premium spirits company. During his tenure at Beam Suntory, Fechheimer held a variety of positions; most recently as senior vice president and chief strategy officer where he focused on organic growth initiatives, acquisitions, divestures and global partnerships.
With a background in spirits and global business development, Fechheimer brings a fresh perspective to the craft beer world and to New Belgium that is complemented by his personal passion for beer, sustainability initiatives, and the business model that drives the company. His values are rooted in treating shareholders/coworkers and the environment the right way. He looks forward to a long career in beer and to leading New Belgium to not only meet but to exceed business goals for years to come.
Fechheimer received a Bachelor of Science in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He enjoys spending time with his family skiing, golfing, and cheering on all teams from the State of Michigan.
