The Poole College of Management has chosen Jordan Feeney as the fall 2019 commencement speaker to represent her class of fellow graduates. Feeney will be graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in economics and a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in finance.
“Being selected to be the student commencement speaker is an amazing honor,” said Feeney. “Representing the Wolfpack at graduation is such a great opportunity to congratulate my fellow graduates and emphasize the importance of our journey and growth here throughout the years.”
During her time at NC State, Feeney completed the Global Perspectives Certificate and received a minor in Spanish. She also made time to study abroad in both London and Italy, and held internship positions at WilmerHale, LLP and Holland and Hart, LLP.
“My study abroad experiences have been what best prepared me for my life after NC State because they challenged me and forced me to grow more than anything else,” said Feeney. “I am so much more prepared for life after NC State because I am now flexible, a fast learner and not scared to push myself to be the best that I can be since I do not stay in my comfort zone.”
After graduation, Feeney will stay in Raleigh as an analyst for Credit Suisse and plans on advancing further in the investment banking field.
