Rob Handfield, professor of operations and supply chain management, will be co-hosting a webinar on December 16 featuring Major Dan Finkenstadt on the roll-out of the upcoming COVID-19 vaccine. While the United Kingdom is serving as somewhat of a guinea pig when it comes to the Pfizer vaccine, the United States’ supply chain will bring different manufacturing challenges.
“In the webinar, we plan to use the Supply Chain Operating Reference Model as a basis for evaluating the different challenges that exist within the entire end to end supply chain,” said Handfield.
