Jenkins MBA Welcomes Jae Jacques to the Admissions Team

Poole College Jenkins MBA Program welcomed Jae Jacques as the newest admissions specialist effective Dec. 1. This position was originally held by Jessie Burke and has been updated since she left in August.

Jacques brings a background in customer service and telecommunications from four years with Verizon Wireless Communications and the NC Department of Transportation call center where she gained processing experience. She most recently served as the undergraduate document manager with North Carolina Central University where she processed applications along with being accountable for all documents needed to complete the undergraduate application.

“The admissions specialist position plays an integral role on the MBA admissions team, often serving as the first point of contact with prospective students and applicants,” said Jenny Champ, associate director of admissions for the Jenkins MBA Program. “Jae has a warm demeanor, a focus on positivity, and an aptitude for problem-solving. We are thrilled she is joining the team and know she will represent Jenkins MBA well!”

As an admissions specialist for the Jenkins MBA Program, Jacques will be responsible for application processing along with managing the main email accounts and phone inquiries.

What made me want to join Poole is the advancement of their admissions process and my love for working in higher education.

“What made me want to join Poole is the advancement of their admissions process and my love for working in higher education,” said Jacques. “Also, the opportunity for career advancement within the college.”
