Poole College Celebrates Faculty and Staff Accomplishments from March

The monthly accomplishments series celebrates the achievements of our faculty and staff in and outside of the Poole College of Management.

• Melinda Morrill, professor of economics, presented at the Texas Christian University provost’s Green Honors Chair lecture.
• Jason DeRousie, director of curriculum and academic programs, celebrated his 10-year service anniversary at Poole at the annual NC State Service Anniversary Breakfast. 
• On March 25, Jason Caplan, adjunct associate professor of practice in entrepreneurship, presented at the Global Blue Economy Conference in Morehead City titled “The Rise and Fall of a BioMarine Company: Lessons Learned”.
• Steve Allen, professor of economics, presented to the Political Economy of Aging series at the New School for Social Research in New York City on his co-authored research  “Forever Young: Where Older Workers Keep On Working”.
