Poole Announces Maria Potepalova as Interim Chief Marketing and Communications Officer
NC State Poole College of Management has named Maria Potepalova as the interim chief marketing and communications officer (CMO) effective June 13. Potepalova will be taking over for Jenny Hammond who previously served as CMO for almost three years.
Potepalova has been with the NC State since 2016 beginning as a marketing and program assistant for the Dance Program within Arts NC State and most recently as the associate director of integrated communications for Poole College. Her primary responsibilities include developing and implementing an integrated communications strategy, including the promotion of faculty research, to elevate and drive brand awareness, and ensure key messages are effectively communicated across key internal and external stakeholder groups.
I have worked closely with Maria in the past on strategic and internal communications and confident in her ability to lead the college in the interim period focusing on building the college brand, enhancing graduate enrollment and internal communications.
