Nichole Miller Named Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs for Poole College
As of Jan. 31, Nichole Miller has transitioned from assistant dean of Jenkins MBA Programs to the assistant dean of graduate programs for Poole College of Management. Miller has been with Poole College since 2015.
“With the success of the two new Master of Management programs exceeding expectations, Poole has looked towards a portfolio approach to graduate programs,” said Vikas Anand, associate dean for academic programs. “The expansion of Nichole’s role will allow her to collaborate with the Master of Accounting and Economics programs while overseeing the other graduate degrees and certificate programs.”
In her new role, Miller will be responsible for overall recruiting for graduate programs and for ensuring the overall success of the programs. She will lead a high-performing team of recruitment and student services professionals while optimizing student satisfaction, organizing student events and planning academic course delivery.
“Serving as the assistant dean of the MBA program has been the most rewarding opportunity for me both professionally and personally,” said Miller. “I am so fortunate to work with such an amazing team that has not only grown the MBA program, but done so with a focus on creating the best end-to-end experience for our students.”
“Being a part of this team, working with our students and witnessing first-hand the impact our programs have on their lives and career trajectories is rewarding beyond words.”
“In looking ahead, I am excited to expand my scope and our team to work with students in the Master of Management programs. Being a part of this team, working with our students and witnessing first-hand the impact our programs have on their lives and career trajectories is rewarding beyond words.”
Prior to joining NC State, Miller served as director of health sector management and as the director of student life at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business from 2001 to 2015.
