Gary Massey is a principal with Clifton Larson Allen, developing strategies for implementation of health care reform focusing on community based providers and solutions. Community based services are covered by Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance/self pay, along with other Federal and State funding programs.

Gary has over 35 years of experience working with various community based providers, along with acute care, long-term care facilities. He brings a broad base of knowledge and experience to strategic, financial, and operational assessments.
As a skilled financial analyst, Gary specializes in business system improvement, financial modeling, operational reviews, and has in-depth knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations.

Gary is a CPA and has a B.A. in Accounting and Business Management from NCSU. He is a frequent speaker on health care financial issues at various state and national organizations. He was appointed to serve on the Medical Care Advisory Committee and currently serves as Chair. He was a member of the Board of Directors for The Carolinas Center for Hospice and Palliative Care Association. He serves on the governmental affairs committee for the Association for Hospice and Home Care. He is a Past Chair of the NC Association of CPAs Health Care Conference. Gary is actively involved with the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the National Association for Home and Hospice Care. He has been a member of the NC Association of CPAs and the American Institute for CPAs for over 35 years.
