Poole College Welcomes Back Stefani Ashkinazy to the Development and External Relations Team

SA

Poole College of Management has recently announced Stefani Ashkinazy as the new assistant director of donor relations effective February 15. Ashkinazy was previously at Poole College as a project coordinator for the Jenkins MBA Program from 2017 to 2019. She is replacing Alex Byrd who previously served in this role.

In her role as assistant director of donor relations, Ashkinazy will be supporting the development and external relations team’s daily operations. She will also be responsible for donor engagement and increasing their experiences and relationships with Poole College.

Her experience with NC State and among our college’s faculty and staff will have a tremendous impact on our ability to enhance the experience of our students, faculty, and supporters.

“We’re excited to have Stefani come back to the Poole College of Management,” said Brian Clark, Executive Director of Development & External Relations. “Her experience with NC State and among our college’s faculty and staff will have a tremendous impact on our ability to enhance the experience of our students, faculty, and supporters.”

At NC State, Ashkinazy served as the alumni relations and event specialist for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering after leaving Poole in 2019. There she worked to create engagement opportunities for alumni and corporate partners.

Ashkinazy received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in marketing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2016.

“Poole has always felt like a family,” said Ashkinazy. “The support and encouragement from others in the college is unmatched.”

There has always been a sense of community at Poole and I am happy to be back!

“I was also happy to see that Poole has been mindfully keeping people connected during the pandemic with weekly check-ins with Dean [Frank] Buckless and opportunities for faculty and staff to engage with each other. There has always been a sense of community at Poole and I am happy to be back!”

Outside of work, Ashkinazy enjoys exploring dog-friendly places around Raleigh, getting outside for walks and, when possible, taking road trips with her seven-year-old dog, Bae. Since the pandemic started, she has also started embroidering and knitting blankets in her spare time as well as expanding her plant collection.
