Allison Anthony Becomes Assistant Director of Poole College’s New Master of Management, Marketing Analytics

Allison Anthony has been announced as the assistant director of Poole College of Management’s Master of Management, Marketing Analytics program effective February 22. Anthony is transitioning from her former position as assistant director of the Global Luxury and Management (GLAM) program. 

In her new role, Anthony will be managing the recruitment and admissions process as well as providing career advice to current and prospective students. 

Allison brings with her extensive experience and expertise in managing a masters program that is absolutely critical for the success of the newly launched Marketing Analytics program.

“Allison brings with her extensive experience and expertise in managing a master’s program that is absolutely critical for the success of the newly launched Marketing Analytics program,” said Rishika Rishika, director of the Master of Management, Marketing Analytics program. “With her as the assistant director for the program, I feel a huge sense of comfort in having a steady hand who not only knows how to handle any situation that develops but also anticipates any issues that may come up in the future.” 

As assistant director of GLAM, Anthony organized admissions events, met with prospective students, advised applicants through the application process and managed the student admissions ambassadors. She advised students with regards to academic requirements and supported them as they progressed through the program. 

I enjoy advising students as they enter graduate school and helping them utilize their strengths paired with what they learn in the classroom to reach their fullest potential.

“I plan to offer the same personalized customer service approach when working with prospective students, applicants and current students in the Marketing Analytics program,” said Anthony. “I enjoy advising students as they enter graduate school and helping them utilize their strengths paired with what they learn in the classroom to reach their fullest potential.”

Anthony received a master of science in community counseling from Western Carolina University in 1997. She also earned an associate of arts from Peace College and a bachelor of science in psychology from Appalachian State University. 

“I look forward to successfully recruiting the inaugural class of Master of Management, Marketing Analytics students this fall, while also helping to raise awareness of this new program for future students,” said Anthony. 

“This marketing analytics program is such a niche offering, and so I am excited at the possibilities of growing the program at a time when big data is changing the way marketing professionals work.”
