Joe Brazel Examines Professional Skepticism Among Audit Practitioners

A white paper recently published by the Foundation for Auditing Research spotlights two studies conducted by Joe Brazel, Jenkins Distinguished Professor of Accounting in the Poole College of Management. In the studies, Brazel and colleagues examine how skeptical behavior among audit professionals can impact their performance evaluations.

Brazel’s research studies were two of the four featured in the publication, “What Can We Learn From Auditing Research?” The resource aims to “unlock academic knowledge for practical application,” delivering valuable research-based information to audit practitioners worldwide.
