Mark Beasley, professor of accounting, questioned the effectiveness of compliance programs and pointed out the complexity of assessing these polices and prodecures.
“These things sound good, but what’s running through my mind is…are these efforts coordinated and connected, and are we seeing gaps in these processes?” said Beasley.
