Rob Handfield Discusses How United Auto Workers Strike Could Impact Supply Chain, Car Prices

Rob Handfield, Executive Director of the Supply Chain Resource Cooperative and Bank of America University Distinguished Professor in the Poole College of Management, says the United Auto Workers strike could drive up car prices and cause shortages of some vehicle models.

“If it goes for two months, we probably won’t see any cars on lots,” he said. “Which means dealers will raise prices on the inventory they have.”
