Health Insurance

Teaching and Research Assistants and Fellows who are funded through the Graduate Student Support Plan receive health insurance benefits as part of that plan.

Residency

Students who are US citizens or permanent residents and have lived in North Carolina for at least 12 months with the intent to become legal residents of the state are strongly encouraged to apply for North Carolina residency.
