The Drucker Institute has tracked the best-run companies since 2017, using data that includes supply-chain performance. Now, that supply-chain data has a new name: the Tariff-Resilience Index.
The change comes from Rob Handfield, Poole professor and executive director of the Supply Chain Resource Cooperative, who coined the term this year to reflect the uncertainty companies are facing.
“Having a strong supply chain is essential to being a well-run company,” Handfield said. “If you’re not investing in that aspect of your business, it’s a fatal flaw.”
