Donnie Hale, lecturer in business analytics, suggests three steps an organization should take when analytics patterns go awry in scenarios like the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Analytics are built on historic patterns and the assumption is that the world tomorrow is going to look like the world today, but what happens in a scenario like the pandemic when it doesn’t,” said Hale.
