Jessica Yinka Thomas, assistant professor of practice, and the Business Sustainability Collaborative work towards preparing the next generation of business leaders who will lead businesses that are just, equitable and regenerative.
Thomas sits down with RTI International’s Sara Lawrence, director of economic development, for the Idea Lab for Equitable Economic Development to break down what an equitable economy would look like, what it would take to achieve an equitable economy and what role she plays in inclusive economic research practices.
“I think it looks like a company where ownership is open to all employees,” said Thomas. “Where historically marginalized groups have access to good quality jobs, opportunities for advancement and the ability to shape the future of business.”
