Brian Crossland is a seasoned finance executive with experience leading growth stage private-equity backed technology companies in the Triangle area. Crossland currently leads the finance team at Etix, a software company providing web-based ticketing and reservation systems and services to the entertainment industry. At Etix, he is responsible for the Company’s overall finance function including accounting, tax, FP&A, treasury, financial reporting, and compliance. His responsibilities also include leading M&A due diligence activities as well as the related integration efforts post-acquisition. 

Prior to joining Etix, Brian held financial leadership roles at Global Knowledge, the global leader in IT and business skills training. While at Global Knowledge, Crossland focused on large-scale global business restructuring and financing activities to aid in the transformation of the business to an all-digital, fully virtual operating platform. 

Prior to his transition to corporate finance, Crossland spent just over a decade in public accounting working for BDO USA, LLP and EY, LLP where he served both publicly traded and privately-held audit clients in the life sciences, technology, financial services, manufacturing, government contracting, and not-for-profit industries.

Mr. Crossland is a graduate of North Carolina State University, receiving B.S. degrees in both accounting and business management, as well as his Master of Accounting degree. He currently serves on the Accounting Advisory Board for the Poole College of Management and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Brian and his wife Carly reside in Cary, NC with their three boys, Sam, Jack and Beau. He enjoys running, coaching his sons’ soccer teams, and spending time at the beach and on the lake with his family and friends.
