The Power of the Pack is a speed networking event this Thursday at Dorothy and Roy Park Alumni Center. Don’t miss this chance to build your network with NC State alumni! Jerry Bowen ’86, Executive Vice President, Wells Fargo will be in attendance and will share his success story. Come meet with Bowen and more high profile alumni!

Fall 2018 Participants and Bios:
Kathryn A. Council ’74 – Vice President of Publications, SAS
Kathy Council oversees the development and delivery of electronic and printed documentation and information products that support SAS products globally. She received her undergraduate degree in mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a master’s degree in statistics from NC State and an MBA from Capella University.
Jerry Bowen ’86 – Executive Vice President, Wells Fargo
Bowen is the head of Dealer Relationships and Production for Wells Fargo Auto. His team offers an integrated financial solution for the auto industry that includes direct and indirect auto finance, floor plan and real estate financing, and acts as a gateway into other areas of Wells Fargo including treasury management, commercial leasing, banking services, wealth management, employee benefits, investment banking and merchant services. Bowen serves on the board of directors for the Miracle League of the Triangle and the YMCA of the Triangle. He received his undergraduate degree in business management from NC State and completed the Executive Leadership Program at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Sepi Saidi ’84, ’93 – Founder & CEO, SEPI Engineering
Sepi Saidi founded SEPI Engineering & Construction in 2001 and has led the company to become a premier full service civil, environmental planning and construction management engineering firm in the Southeast. The firm’s awards include Fast 50 firm by Triangle Business Journal, Zweig White Hot Firm List, Inc. 5000, and being ranked as a Top 500 Design Firm on the Engineering News-Record’s 2017 list. The Triangle Business Journal named Saidi as a Top 20 CEO of the Year. She was also inducted into the North Carolina Business Hall of Fame and selected as a Charlotte Business Journal 2018 Women in Business Achievement Award winner. Saidi earned her undergraduate degree in biological and agricultural engineering and a master’s degree in civil engineering.
Bill Holmes ’92, ’13 – Director of Legislative and Public Affairs, North Carolina Department of Information Technology
Holmes serves as the Director of Legislative and Public Affairs for the North Carolina Department of Information Technology. He leads his team in developing and delivering information about the department to legislators, the media and other government partners and is also responsible for internal communications. Holmes previously served as Director of External Affairs at the North Carolina Office of the State Auditor, leading the agency’s legislative and media outreach programs while also serving as an editor for non-financial audits. He has a master’s degree in public administration from NC State, where he also earned a graduate certificate in public policy and a degree in english.
Ryan Eade ’05 – Chief Technology Officer, Spiffy, Inc.
Eade serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Spiffy, Inc. He leads a team of developers creating a mobile-first technology stack that helps car owners manage and maintain their vehicles with on-demand services and connected-car data. Eade was awarded a Triangle Business Journal C-Suite Award in 2018. He received a degree in technical education with a minor in graphic design.
