Jared Plummer (BS Accounting ‘05, BS Finance ’05, MAC ’07)

Jared Plummer, a founder of Two Roosters, started his career at a Big 4 public accounting firm while making ice cream for friends and family. He eventually dove into the ice cream business fulltime and opened three locations in Triangle.

Patrick Schilling (BS Entrepreneurship ’10)

Patrick Schilling grew up in Germany and came to NC State in 2016 to finish the last two years of his undergraduate career as part of the Poole College of Management’s International Business Dual Degree program. Upon graduation, he went to work for Google, which landed him in Dublin, Ireland.

Will Kornegay (BS’06) and Laura Hearns (BS ’09)

Brother and sister duo Will Kornegay and Laura Hearns are making waves in the food industry by combining two of their passions – reducing farm excess and fighting hunger with their company Ripe Revival. How? By taking excess fruits and vegetables from farms and creating protein-packed fruit gummies.

Nasheena Quick Davis (BS Accounting ’10)

Nasheena Quick Davis came to NC State on a track scholarship, but she applied herself every bit as vigorously in the classroom as on the field. She is an experienced accountant, but she also exercises her creative muscle through freelance journalism. The High Point, North Carolina, native has always defied classification.

Luke High (MBA ’16)

Major Luke High, MBA ’16, is part of a trailblazing effort to transform the practice of marketing within the U.S. Army as the Director of Marketing Strategy and Analytics at the United States Military Academy West Point.

Imani Starling-Brown (GLAM ’20)

After graduating from the GLAM program, Starling-Brown worked as a freelance social media marketing manager for Aiden & Coco, an aromatherapy spray company, before taking a position with FRĒDA SALVADOR.
