David Hosty

Bio

David is currently a Senior Academic Advisor at NC State University’s Poole College of Management. He is passionate about assisting students with their academic, professional and personal development. David strives to ensure that every student he interacts with has a positive experience.

David holds a B.A. in Performance and Communication Arts from St. Lawrence University (NY) and an M.Ed. in Higher Education in Student Affairs from Salem State University (MA). He previously worked at the University of Connecticut advising and teaching, as well as at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in New Zealand in a few administrative roles. David’s diverse professional experience across different educational systems globally has helped him become a well-rounded individual with an unwavering passion for educational access and success.

In his free time, David enjoys working out, playing basketball, traveling, reading, doing sudoku puzzles and watching sports.
