Housing
Living directly next to the campus in one of the student dorms is the ideal way to coordinate your academic and private life. Whether it’s to be an apartment, a single room just for you, or a double room shared with a fellow student: your very own four walls are furnished and just waiting for you to move in!
If you enjoy cooking with other people, if you like spending the evening in the company of a group of friends, and if you don’t have a problem sharing the bathroom, then you’ll be happy here. But remember: rooms in the student residences are very popular, so make sure you apply in good time! The accomodations are maintained by external facility management companies.
You’d rather look for your own place to live off-campus? Click here for ESB’s accommodation portal (in German only).
The University’s main catering facility is known as the Mensa, and offers hot and cold food and drinks (on weekdays only). At lunchtime you will find a range of hot meals, as well as a generous salad buffet, desserts, soft drinks and snacks, all at student-friendly prices. Cold snacks such as filled rolls, cakes or yogurts are available all day, as are hot and cold beverages.
