About the Poole Dean’s Circle
The NC State Poole College of Management Dean’s Circle is a philanthropic society where members provide unrestricted and targeted funding to select college-wide funds with annual gifts of $5,000 and above.
These funds represent critical areas within the college and directly support initiatives that impact the college’s Strategic Framework. Join us by selecting the causes and funds that matter most to you.
Areas of Impact
Poole College of Management Excellence Fund
Provides discretionary support to Poole College of Management, enabling the allocation of funds to the areas where they are most needed.
Poole College Faculty Enrichment Endowment
Provides discretionary support for faculty enrichment, retention and recruitment, and other faculty activities.
Poole College General Scholarship Endowment
- Provides scholarships to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at Poole College.
- Generates support for the Poole College of Management Dean’s Scholar Program.
Poole College Global Programs Scholarship
Provides support for both undergraduate and graduate students in their leadership development activities, study abroad opportunities and career preparation activities.
Poole College Mental Health and Wellness Fund
Provides resources and support for mental health and wellness initiatives, including but not limited to staff salary, benefits and operational activities within the Poole College of Management.
Jenkins Graduate Endowment Fund
Provides discretionary support for the Jenkins Graduate Programs within the Poole College of Management.
Poole College High-Impact Experiences Fund
Provides funding for immersive and sustained opportunities designed for Poole College of Management students to deepen and apply knowledge in and beyond the classroom. Fund uses may include, but are not limited to leadership development activities, high-impact learning opportunities, and career-preparation activities.

My employer provides matches for my contributions to the college. Do these matches count toward my Dean’s Circle membership?
Yes! Matching contributions can count toward your $5,000 minimum contribution to the funds within the Dean’s Circle. However, your membership will not be active until your employer’s matching gift has arrived.
I like to pledge my gifts and fulfill my payments later in the year. When am I considered a Dean’s Circle member?
You are part of the Dean’s Circle when your pledge is committed. You have until June 30 each year to fulfill your pledge. Your pledge can be fulfilled on a custom schedule to best suit your philanthropic process.
How do monthly pledge payments work for my Dean’s Circle eligibility?
You are a member of the Dean’s Circle when you set up your monthly or ongoing pledge payments if the projected contributions over 12 months will equal $5,000 or more.
I would like to support a fund not listed above, such as a departmental fund or my personal scholarship fund. Can my contribution be eligible for Dean’s Circle membership?
