Join the NC State Poole College Business Sustainability Collaborative on Friday, September 8th from 3pm – 5pm in a VIRTUAL event to kick off the Fall 2017 B Corp Clinic. The web-conferencing link will be sent out to the RVSP list one day prior to the kick off. Even if you’re not able to attend in real-time, register for the event and we’ll follow up with a recording and details about applying for the Clinic. The B Corp Clinic is a collaboration between the Business Sustainability Collaborative, the Entrepreneurship Clinic, HQ Raleigh, and the NC State Net Impact Chapters.

The Clinic offers students hands-on consulting experience and the chance to learn about B Corporations, social and environmental impact assessment, and sustainable business models. Undergraduate and graduate students from colleges and universities across North Carolina are welcome to participate. Students will work in interdisciplinary, cross-university teams of 4-5 with their selected company and in partnership with subject matter experts to set tactical goals to help the company improve their impact over time.

Over the last two years, the B Corp Clinic has worked with 157 students on 24 projects and helped companies make progress on over 1200 points towards certification, including 5 companies that have become B Corp Certified. The B Corp Clinic launch event will feature an introduction to B Corporations, an opportunity to learn more about the Fall 2017 B Corp Clinic and projects, student expectations and how to get involved.

Students will have an opportunity to apply to participate in the Clinic after the kick-off. Final applications will be due by 11:59pm on Wednesday, September 13th.
